Tubular Handrailing System
Tubular handrail components are quick to install and finish with minimal on-site welding required.
Stanchions, bends, kick-plates, slip-joints, closures, etc., can be supplied fully galvanised or untreated, according to requirements and are manufactured to
AS 1657 1992.
On-site, the stanchions are loosely bolted in position, rails are then passed through the ball joints of each stanchion with any rail joins concealed within the ball.
Lightweight and easy to install FRP grating is an ideal flooring product for foot traffic. It has a high strength to weight ratio and is resistant to a wide range of chemicals (see chemical resistance table attachment) It is also fire and UV resistant

Forgebar Grating Stair Treads
Stair treads can be supplied in Forgebar Series 30, 40 or 60. Overall tread length can be made to any dimension. Please feel free to contact us in regard to recommended widths.
Whatever the depth of the main flooring, we recommend that stair treads should never have less than a 25 x 5 Load Bar size.
Stair treads wear at a greater rate than the actual flooring and are more inclined to become bowed because of continual and concentrated impact.
Nosings help to define the edge of the tread. Without Nosing Bars, the pattern of the grating tends to merge when walking down stairs, which can result in over or under stepping. The Nosing Bar also stiffens the front edge of the tread, helping resist deflection caused by impact loads.
